Fr. David is the pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in New Melle, Missouri. Thanks in part to an encounter with St. John Paul the Great during the pope’s 1999 visit to St. Louis, he entered seminary in 2001 and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of St. Louis in 2009. He has served at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in St. Charles, St. Gerard Majella in Kirkwood, and St. Patrick in Wentzville, as well as in seminary formation at Cardinal Glennon College. His priestly service, including his role as chaplain of the Image of God Institute, is shaped by his devotion to and study of St. John Paul II and the Carmelite saints.
